As I venture further into the realms of producing music I have found myself sometimes starting to wonder if by making certain decisions I am getting away from what is important, and I'm sure I can't be alone. Historically, music has always been a very "organic" thing. Strings over wood, air through wood, air through brass, hitting an object. A quick listen through a playlist of the charts through the decades - especially pre-80's music - and it becomes obvious that music today is very different.

Happy 2014! First concert of the year will be at the fabulous Water Rats in London with Success Express towards the end of February... date to be confirmed soon.

Music from the Spiral EP was featured once again on The Deuce Show as well as on Radio Seagull (http://www.radioseagull.com/) in the Netherlands yesterday.

Mark and his band will be playing at Dusk Till Dawn on the 25th October, joined on the line-up by Fraser Churchill, Andy Robbins and Craig Webb.

Thank you to everyone who has bought or downloaded a copy of the EP since it was released last month. I'm very excited about the the next one and I've already started developing ideas. I'll certainly not be resting on my laurels and the funds from this one will be used for the next.

If there’s one thing we learned from last weekend’s trip to Cornwall folk festival, it’s that people cannot get enough of staring at a bunch of rocks balancing in a field. Don’t get me wrong, I like a nice henge as much as the next man, but I also like travelling faster than the average ant with one leg.
